This site looks familiar, and I seem to recall that being out of stock and if they shipped anything it was a PMI tracer.

"New Hammer" was its actual name. All plastic trigger frame and grip (45, not removable) $100 sounds steep

No, the "New Hammer" is different. This looks like a new "Hammer," of which I own an old "Hammer." I've been wanting to pick up an old "New Hammer" for a while, but since they are now making new "Hammers," I might have to get one of them instead.

Thats definitely the old "New Hammer". those plastic frames use to rot right off the gun.

Yeah....I was mainly going for a wordy joke....apparently I didn't use enough permutations of the words "Hammer," "old," and "new" to be funny though. And I could have sworn the New Hammer looked like this:

****....that's a "Hammer 2." And aparently there's a "Hammer Plus," too. And as I realize I could attempt word play with "Hammer," "2," and "too" I realize how lame that is and give up.

Lets see if I can get this right

hammer A had a metal trigger group and metal pump handle, right feed

Hammer P had a plastic trigger group and plastic pump handle

Hammer plus had a powerfeed and metal trigger group plastic pump

hammer 2 was a sterling clone

And I believe the new hammer was just a hammer plus remade

almost.
the A never had a metal pump handle, just frame.
the New Hammer was the Hammer plus powerfeed body with a one piece plastic frame. the "45" shape is molded, you cant put grips on it or put a bottom line (its hollow) and you cant remove it from the frame.
The A , P, and plus could have the grips removed and replaced with an aftermarket 45 frame or any other grip (ie Stow-away,Gator,ect)
