Thinking of Selling my Cocker

Even though I got the CCM Pump Kit, and all that with my cocker....I think I am going to sell it.

I played with it and I LOVE it for speedball. However, the thing changes when the guys I play with 99.99% of the time play woodsball.

I find it very hard to play a pump with it when a few people have fully auto. I have to pump, look shoot, then duck back to recock because if I stay out too long, a hail of fire comes after me and it'll get me knocked out.

Not sure what I should do.

??? other guys playing full auto is no excuse to stop playing pump. If anyone is being an overshooting douche, I switch to my electro and let them know how I feel about their inability to stop pulling the <choice words> trigger. Past that pump isn't supposed to be easy so get used to it.

Have you tried an auto trigger.. because every time I play with Dave's T2 I just sit in the bushes laughing at how fast that damn thing shoots. With an auto trigger I think you could really level it out against electros with out switching guns.

Well, the tank I bought is the guerrila air myth 13 cubic inch 3000 psi tank. I can only really use it with a pump and I paid 70 bucks + more for shipping.

Also 1 ball sucks when there is a lot of foliage and ****. I had a few of my paintballs hit a damn vine or leaf and damn I Wish I had like 5 more BPS so at least one would of gotten through.

Shoot faster.. like harb said. Most of the people here play pump quite often and you arent the only one playing against a bunch of electros.

i feel your frustratoin on the underbrush getting in the way. if possible i double or tripple load and try to get over bushes or braches. thats where pumps have advantages, brittle paint will break easily if you do that though

I personally love playing pump against electro/semi players. Its more intense when you get into an actual firefight. And it is much more rewarding when you out shoot someone using full auto.

But what it all comes down to is if your having fun. If your not having fun playing against people using full auto with a pump, then switch to a semi; fun is the only thing that really matters in paintball.

Eh, honestly if pumping isnt what you enjoy playing right now then dont do it, sell the gun and pick up something else.

You should only pump cause you enjoy it, dont do it cause its the "cool thing" on boards like this.
