Threading on the back doesn't matter. All the tips are universally threaded correct?

by tips, do you mean inserts?

I have a front and back (threaded for an Ion) I could send you, but I would like to hold onto my inserts for another month or two.

Making sure I have my terminology correct. Front =tip, back=back and insert is insert.

Correct.

All backs thread to all fronts. Backs have threading per marker they fit.
