Well no.
I never purchase a marker brand new and like a car, way over priced.

I love Bob Long markers, but in Canada have had problem with the weather. My Victory leaked frequently because of the change of climate. I had another VIce with similar problem.

As much as Planet Eclipse over produced their marker, they do put efforts towards improving their technology which I appreciate. The SL94 is simply a great marker. Agreed little over priced but as stated, money was and is not a factor.

FYI I used to be an Automag fanatic and still am. But reality is that once again our weather made the xvalve capricious and most of all I needed a marker with better efficiency. I do appreciate older markers but also wants a limited maintenance. I have shared enough hours doing it and now focus is on playing.

When people say buy an already devalued gun it doesn't necessarily mean go buy a shoebox. See if you can find an earlier model Ego like 05-08. An 07 sounds like it would be a happy medium, even an etek would probably be fine. If it's supposed to be a backup then it just needs to be basic, reliable, and cheap.

Actually an etek2 might be perfect. Someone on ebay is selling a few digicam eteks, supposedly refurbished by PE, for just shy of 300.

Why not sell them all and get an Angel as your backup and support your sponsor. If I was a gun manufacture and was sponsoring somebody I would want them using my products. If it was me that was sponsored I would be using my sponsors products.

Sell them all and get a 68 special or Mega Z, it the cold damp climate the CO2 cloud can be a great cloak to hide behind! Of course it gives away your general location but think of the looks you would get bringing a dinosaur on the field.

Keep the vice. The only thing it lacks from the sl94 is gun size and LCD screen. It is light, extremely efficienct, smooth, and cheap. Get your moneys worth and sell the other two overpriced markers.

Keep whichever one shoots really well in cold weather. Angel a1's do not like very cold weather.
