This company's got some pretty nifty stuff... Such as these refillable canisters. Only thing is they don't give exact detail as to how you refill them. I'm guessing it's done as it has always been... But what's with the knobs on the botton of their canisters?

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...
tlane77 He's got a woody for your woods.

the knob's an on / off.

fill it like a normal tank really.

No Im looking at that single shot thing thinking... maybe it might be a breech loading single shot gun? Pump it back, load a ball, pump it forward.

Are their tanks DOT approved yet? That was one thing we weren't sure of before.

2 x 2 rule says it doesnt matter as far as rehydro is concerned. The bottom tube cap is knurled so I'm betting it's a springfeed.

Yes, but if they're not approved in the first place then technically its illegal to fill them. I don't believe these have a DOT stamp, so I'm not sure how they would be legal(though I'm no DOT reg expert )

I've seen these before and I think they're DOT approved. I'll have to see if I can find the site. SOGear.com I think.

Well, I would assume they are approved, seeing as how law enforcement and government agencies (I.E. the military) use these in markers that they train with (RAP4 takes this cylinder).

For the last year I have been working on a project like this. I started off with a phantom. Remade the body to allow feeding from below. Plus I have been slow taking parts from a mossberg 500 and converting it. Th elower tube is a spring feed which holds 23 balls and it loads just like a shot gun. You push the spring forward and then shove a tube into the bottom side of the body, load the paint and then remove the tube. If any of you know how a speedloader on a shotgun works, picture that.

Now All i need to do is rebarrel it and make a stock that can accept 12grams.
They stole my project.

Also in the ad is says that the sgun fires a single paintball. Maybe it is a single shot gun.

The small tanks don't have a standard burst disk on them, so getting a field fill is a scary prospect if you can even get them to try it- the 'burst disk' is all the o-rings in your on/off, if they go the tanks can be rebuilt but you're done with that tank until you do.

The normal method is to piggyback fill from a bottle with a burst disk(I use a 20ozer and get two or three good fills of my 30g before I top off the 20ozer). That's probably the way I'd go.

this 30g tank gives me around 50-60 shots with my semi pistol, if that is a pump, the 45g in the stock would probably last 80 or 90 shots easy and if you went with a fixed custom wood stock you could fit the 60g or 100g I betcha.

I'm not sure it's a pump, RAM makes those grenades that fire multiple paintballs, so they would be sure to say it only fires one at a time, but with their focus on training I bet it is. The real FN shotgun is a pump.
It has a slide arm mounted to the pump I can see in this other pic although it could be cosmetic.

RAM has never put out a true 'single shot' for the sake of looks, I'm betting that magazine works, too.
This will be AgentSmith's, oh yes... It will be mine!( then a wood stock and pump ala winchester 12 for some WW2 hotness!)

Rob

PS NetsurferDude,
if you can find the RAP4 video that was on MCB with DSA in it, you'll see these tanks work off of a regular straight back mounted ASA and the tubular stock slides over that to attach to the gun, retract the stock and you can reach the tank to remove/install and reach the on/off, exxtend the stock and it's covered up, that might be a good way to go for your project although these tanks are expensive(I paid around$50 for my 30grammer).
