Would you by a new Sniper II, and what would you pay?

Quick product question: if you were looking to get into pump play, if there was a reasonably cheap Sniper II (AKA, 'pump 'Cocker'...ugh, hate that term.) available, would you buy one?

And, if so, what would you expect to pay?

Keep in mind-these aren't CCM-grade beauties. Rather, something that would fit in with cheaper Phantoms and Azodin KPs.

I ask because I'm thinking about offering these in my under-construction store. Essentially, I'd try and pick up a pile of plain NOS 'Cocker bodies, bolts, valves and frames, throw an ASA and reg or a 12-gram charger, pump kit and a barrel on it and sell it as a Sniper II. Colours would depend on what I can get, but I'd probably offer mainly just black.

If I can, I'd like to sell them new for under $200 for a complete gun. They wouldn't be fancy-plain bodies, regs, ASAs, probably Proto barrels and a generic CF feedneck. Basically, a cheap, simple, entry-level pump gun.

Basically, an alternative to Phantoms for the beginner (Not that Phantoms aren't great, but I personally prefer Sheridans, and I know a lot of other people do as well).

EDIT: I ask because, AFAIK, nobody sells Sniper IIs any more save CCM, and, while they're AWESOME guns, they're not exactly cheap. If someone out there IS making new, lower-end Sniper IIs, I'd love to know.

150-200 bucks depending on how well equipped, id say. if you can make a few bucks selling em at 150 it will work out for you.

the WGP ones have crappy double trigger frames though. would these be single trigger? much cooler if they are.

The WGP ones are OOP, though. I've tried to find a supplier for them, but no luck.

Yes, I'd go with single trigger frames.

PB Gateway would qualify as a supplier of NOS WGP product. Last I'd heard...they've still got pallets of WGP product yet to have been gone through...
Also...The Paintball Shop bought out the System X stock and so would also have a load of NOS Autococker clones.

I'd say you'd need to be closer to $150.

well, it's going to come down to demand for the price point, to a degree. I'd try 175, if that gives you enough margin to make it worthwhile.
