PUMP - Page 2

I just played pump for the first time last Saturday. tOt was a smaller field with ablot of people on then. I noticed getting far up worked great, but it was hard to do that when there were so many people. Normally it's 13-13 and that day it was 23-23. So I'll have to try it on a normal day. When I went up front on the larger team it worked wonders.

My son and I have started playing pump very recently and we get more eliminations than most other players. We have also become marked men... With a pump you will automatically think more and play smarter. This past saturday in a 10 on 10 we shot 8 people. I got three in the back, 1 ball each from 15-40 feet. We constantly look for angles and ways to flank people. I think semi players actually look for a stand up fire fight where we naturally look for a tactical advantage.

Don't get too excited, you'll short stroke.

If you're not doing it already, practice shooting off-hand. It will help you especially in the close range snap shooting duels that are bound to take place on this field.

Take a herd of rental players with you. They make for great distractions and will listen to you since they automatically label you as a sniper. When they get engaged in a firefight that is your chance to flank. Move past your opponents and shoot them in the back. Just don't assume the renters will remember that you are on their team when you try to regroup with them.

Turn your back to them and wave them forward after you eliminate all the opponents in the area.

I've had that problem a few times and not renters and I used a semi-auto gun.

Yeah. It doesn't really matter whether its a semi or pump. Its happened to me on several occasions. Just with pump I tend to move farther up faster. Therefore increasing the likelihood of friendly fire.
