Punisher... Not him.. The comic book.

So in my cleaning up and reflooring my computer room I came across my large bin of comic books... Some may know that I have a love for the punisher comic books, mainly the armory issues.. These were 10 or so issues with no adds that had pages upon pages of his weapons and other toys he uses to do what he does best..

So I cracked open issue one and not but 5 pages in I see a page with a training course and some odd redish-pink splotches all over the place..

The writer went on to explain how The Punisher uses Para-Ordanance m-85's to train for urban combat.... Yep.. more detaled that that.

Now keep in mind the last time I even read this comic was maybe 1992.. it came out in 1990, I didnt catch the bug to play from my father till 1993 ish.....

Wait yes I know... But I just worked a 14 hour shift at work.. I had a haskel pump AND a Max Air compressor apart in my lap most of the day as they are both junk and we had no air at work for the young guns tourny...

So some time tomarrow Ill transcripe the text and post a picture of the pages.. neat little history thing as paintball wasnt really mainstream media in 1990.. but it cropped up in a comic..

I used to read a bit of comic books and always loved the Armory issues of Punisher more than the regular issues. I do remember one issue I had (long gone now, along with the rest of my collection) where a group of police officers were to play some outlaw paintball against a mysterious challenger group in an abandoned building. Can't remember all the details, but the mysterious challengers were planning on killing the cops by using real guns instead of paintmarkers, Pun happens to get wind of it, and stalks thru the building marking out officers with the M85 in one hand and killing the bad guys with a real gun in the other.

The odd memories that just pop into my mind from my childhood...

I might have that one... I don't collect comic books, but got into the punisher series by a friend back in high school.

I'll have to look now. NO idea where they might be though.
