Per tymcneer's request, I assembled this video and posted for people to decide for themselves. The 60 and 120 fps modes record without sound, and they play back at half and quarter frame rates, respectively. (To view them at normal speed, you would need to double or quadruple the playback rate) To see the differences in video quality, this would need to view it at 1080, but I am unable to upload it in 1080 quality .

Not really digging the no sound. I thought it would record at regular speed, but at 60/120 fps so that you could slow it down in an editor and still have a good picture. It doesn't seem like it works this way. Is this the way the GoPro works?

That's kind of silly that it kills the sound. As for 1080p...your video did come out at 1080p on YouTube? In any case, I'm curious to see the low-light performance. I can't see 60 or 120 being useful for paintball without a sound recorder. |
