how do people feel about the 86* or 90* frames on snipers out there? I notice people are always howling after the older ccm sliders, but are the hinges popular as well?

I hate 86/90s... I can't shoot them comfortably and my form is all goofy... They are incredibly smooth to shoot. The sliders tend to be more sought after than the hinges because well, people like the buttery smoothness of the slider and CCM swearing them off tend to make them somewhat "collectable".

I have an 86 frame on my S6. I like it. I got a double hinge 45 on my S5. I like it too. I don't really seem to notice a difference when I am actually playing. The only time I notice a difference is off the field when I can actually take the time and think about the grip...Both work for me.

I've always felt the 68 hinges were too narrow, even with the rubber grips. I've never used an 86 slider, though, so I can't comment on that one.

The cz75 frame it is based on is my favorite grip ever. Can't stand the thin panels on them, but love the hogues. Unfortunetly, the lower portion of the trigger guard can rub against my knuckle when the hogues are on. So I had Pillage make some extra wide wood grips and they are great! I use the hogue grips on the phantom/m16 86* grip frame and it feels great there.

I prefer more angled frames (good 45 style works great for me, or even longer angle like a luger style), I've yet to hold an 86 that truly pointed naturally for me.

have you tried the 86 phantoms? Those are pretty good balance between angle and frame.
