there is also no clear text outlining the rules of the game you were playing (maybe there is on youtube, but not here).

oh, and you can't really tell other people not to click on you videos when you are posting them in public medium like the internet.

When you say lol are you really laughing out loud?

If your intent is assault, why even bother with the paintball gun? Just walk over and start clubbing people you don't agree with.

Nothing helps enforce the rules like breaking them! ^5!
So much win. Proper respect, Legolas and GoatBoy.

That said, I treat paintball bullies with a stern warning once or twice and then removal from the property. Good judgement and ability to handle people is all that's needed, field owners either respect your decision (which I've never had one disagree with me) or you leave the property yourself... Things I get people for are obvious, though; blatant cheating, excessive violence, removing goggles on the field, removing barrel blockers in safe zones, etc...

quit with the high horse crap guys...sometimes paintball is what it is. I've bonusballed guys with a pump because of things like running me down after being hit, and I'm probably one of the least confrontational players you'll ever play with.

I'm sure mikes exaggerating with the ambulance comment, but lets be honest
...there are many places where - for better or worse - a players only recourse is on the field.

I've dealt with them at fields all over the Tampa area. Orbital, Blitzkrieg, CFP, Gator, PSI, Gladiator, you name it, I've seen them and I've dealt with them.

Talking to them doesn't help, pulling them aside doesn't help, kicking them off the field doesn't help.

You know what does help? Showing them that paintball players will not tolerate their bullying and put it back on them.

I watch, I observe, I look for patterns. If I see a player consistently playing dirty (playing on, headshotting people when bunkering on purpose, bonus balling, talking smack and being disrespectful in the pits, overshooting newbies), when I get my chance, they're going to need some neosporin and an ice pack... possibly an ambulance cot

99% of the time, the player cleans up their act. The other 1%, they don't return. That's fine with me
I must agree with Mike and Antonio, though I can't afford to bonus ball back nor o i have the ability since i only shoot stock class, I do wish I could pull out an ego and bonus ball the hell out of other bonus ballers at point blank range to either hurt them/get them to stop or make sure they never come back to my home field. My experience down here in florida is that people will only listen or stop with force. So I am all for what Mike and Antonio are advocating, sometimes you just gotta fight force with more force and some extra stacked on top.

I have mixed feeling about this video. While they most likely did deserve it. Posting a video does not set a good example. Fighting fire with fire only makes more fire. There is enough aholes in the sport already. I am sure many younger players look up to you. If they see you doing it. It makes it ok for them to do it.
I do acknowledge sometimes giving someone a taste of their own medicine is the only way to stop them. They most likely deserved it and they seem like dbags. But stooping to their level is not acceptable.

We're not saying we've never done it. We're saying it's not right.

Sure, I'll be honest. Sometimes there is no choice. For a sociopath. I mean, literally, if you feel you have been robbed, by this other player's actions, of all choice in the matter and cannot possibly do anything other than settle things on the field (by breaking rules no less), even if it makes things *worse*, and you *know* it might make things worse... If the only thing you have is a hammer, well guess what? I'm forced to use it.

Some of you guys are high atop your horses, playing the "better person".

If some **** bonus balls me, I try hard to get them banned off the field and if that doesn't work I'll just walk right up to them and light them the **** up.

How exactly does doing the wrong thing make you a better person?

Serious question. How do you become a "better person" through this path?

I don't even see how they were bullies. If you're playing god mode there's not much you can do to bully anyone, it looks like they talked smack to you in the start then you got the drop on them...nothing really interesting from either end.
