About two years ago, I just got plain sick of trying to carve out a serious paintball hobby in a part of the state that had zero paintball community. I got fed up and just quit trying, though my love for the game never went away. Now, two years later, I live in an area that has real fields and players, and where walking on at a field doesn't mean 2-on-2 games IF you're lucky. I FINALLY know what it's like to live in a place where the game is actually embraced, and the love has come roaring back with a vengeance. I've lived here 3.5 months, and I've already played 9 times. Here it is Wednesday, and all I can think about at work is how much I'm looking forward to playing this weekend. How hopeful I am that my new gear will show up in time to try out Saturday. How cool it is to be trying out a new field that I've never been to. It's like I'm a kid just starting out all over again. *Sorry for the ramble but, like I said, I can't concentrate on anything else in my cubicle right now. )

I hear ya man. After I started driving about a year ago, it opened up all kinds of paintball for me that was impossible before. The simple answer should be "I hope not!" Last edited by Kermit; 05-30-2012 at 04:31 PM. |

LOL. With my screen shrunk down like it is (trying to hide it from the boss), all I saw of your Location info was the ", CA". After reading your post, I thought, "Damn...dude's gonna drive from California to friggin' Canada for that game!?"

I don't think so! Iv been playing for a loooong time and took a break for my first two years at college but once I got back into it I'm the same. I want a new gun every week, I wanna try every style (used to be only interested in speedball), and I feel like I appreciate each time I get to go more than I used to! I also get excited every time I go still, just like when I was a noobie
