My one reservation would be that it would fall under the 2x2 rule. It sounds perfect for pump play, but hydroing tanks is pain enough for me to stick with the 13/3k

This is a good point. But I still think some kind of small 4500 tank would be worth it!

This seems perfect for pump play. I am in for at least one. When talking to the guys at pbgateway, there is a real possibility of this going forward if enough interest is shown!

What I don't like is that blowing the tanks up to 150% capacity causes them to flex and really only serves to weaken them in the long run. It's nitpicky and probably moot though because they can handle so much more than the advertised pressure.

Definantly looks interesting, but the 45/4500 I have is already good enough for me concerning weight and air capacity.

Isn't it a matter of looking for the extent of metal fatigue which happens quite a bit to aluminum? Every time you fill your tank, fiber wrapped or not, it expands a bit, and as you drain off the pressure it shrinks a little bit. Over time, this stretching and shrinking weakens the material so that it may suddenly fail without warning.

45% of what you get from a 45/4500 tank.
