Apex Barrel - military application?
[BRAIN FART WARNING]
Do you guys think there could be a military application of an apex barrel?
It is hard to get a sphere to fly straight, and it is hard to get a rifled bullet to bend.
Could spherical projectiles sometimes be advantageous for the military? These projectiles may go around bunkers, corners, or into foxholes using something like the apex barrel technology. It's easy to imagine projectiles ranging from 68cal to baseball size.

It would be possible I think, but you wouldn't get that much of a change as you do with a bullet. It would probably be very little of a trajectory change, therfore useless.

Marriage is like poker. Before marriage it's two hearts and a diamond. Then you get married and need a club and a spade.
