This is definite.

Personally, I'm saying PPS brass. I remember someone mentioning a while back that the brass guns only make even in terms of profit for PPS and that Craig wishes to concentrate on products provide profit. It's only logical to go a route to keep the company going, so brass might be less common in the future. I still believe they will service them for life though.

I forgot if I jumped in or not...

But Im going to hazzard to guess custom cocker to a degree.. By that I mean BBT, BPS , Sandridge, spanky, ect... one off super high priced ones from the day.

We have the similar going on right now.....

Nelson guns were once the only type around then the clones came in the market went nutzo every one had them and then they died out fairly quickly. Now you can get traccers and other lower end ones for $40 bucks. But the custom and unique ones still get HUGE prices.

PPS brass will never become "colectable" so long as that model/gun with features is still made, and thus the older gun will be considered "used" rather that collectable as for the most part the price of the new marker witll determine the market of used gear. For something to be "collectable" its value must be determined by the market/end user, not by other means.

Im agreeing with you, just taking it a step further

IMHO, the early model Spec-Ops modified markers
have a lot of expensive engineering

the longbowed tac-one is a pretty unique rig

as is the A5-A2

Those are just bolt on parts to an already working gun. Not collector stuff. That is collector stuff as far as a unique setup of a vm68 is..not worth all that much.

Good old pretty milled cockers that arent destroyed are already pretty valuable. Anyone can appreciate them, they rule.

X mags will hold their value even though I dont think they are too great, PTP e mags maybe but just because people dont know that PTP bodies werent built to AGD spec al of the time.

Carter- your forward thinking is good. Thanks for getting the wheels turning.

First gen good intimidators like the first gen ripper that was supposed to be much faster than all of the other guns at the time. Trouble with these is that they really do become better when you slap on the alias style frame and other bolt on upgrades to more current components.

edit- Woah! Looks like people are already attempting to sell ripper 1's at almost and more than 1000 dollars. All are upgraded to as current as possible

Ripper 1 Intimidator F/S/T only 1 of 150 - PbNation

Hot Ripper 1 + Everything Paintball Must Go! - PbNation

Custom Anno'ed Ripper 1!~ VERY RARE!~ Empire Framed VERY HOT 875 OBO - PbNation

1 of 1 ORIGINAL RIPPER 7th Hole Mod! - PbNation

Will people really care if they have their original sucky frame? It is a lot different than upgrading the jimmy wood slider on a merlin he put together to an E blade.

Im kind of bias on this but i think the AKA spyders will be good collectables soon. They already are with in a group of people.

Aka made approx 30 black widow spyders. These were kingman bodies that were reanoed serial numbered and packed full of aka stuff.
The other aka Spyder is a Vlm spyder, these were sold as bodies. but only 30 or so were made. There where 4 or 5 that aka made into complete finished guns.
