CBSA has been upping there game when it comes to the importation of airsoft guns and firearm replicas. A lot less needless seizures, less ambiguity in their rules and more officers who actually know the rules and wont just seize when in doubt.

Whether this is good or bad for the AS community is still up in the air. A lot more players joining, but young players. Most are good, but you occasionally get some bad eggs. Anyone whos been around Airsoft Canada will know. LOL

I played when I was in middle school, weird how it took 10+ years to catch on.

I'd look into airsoft too if paint prices were $100+ per case.

There's an indoor airsoft place that opened up in our crappy mall near here.

But really a place where you can loosen your tie... We'll see what happens. I figure that with the right set of people to begin with, we could have a good forum.

Otherwise it could go right down the drain...

So we'll see.

I think that depends on the field. The indoor place where I live had astroturf so I'm guessing that makes it easier to just colletc, rinse and repeat while on a paintball field it might not be as easy.

I've looked into air soft as an alternative to paintball but every time I do I can't help but laugh to myself and carry on.

Nope. If you pick bb's up off the ground, the dirt could cause jams. I'v heard that can wreck your gearbox.

There are also biodegradable bb's. Reusing them is a big no-no.

Could you scoop 'em up to be rinsed at a later time? They're not like paint, which is rather hygroscopic.

Could you not wash them?

And I'm guessing the biodegradable ones go smooshy with water??

they will start to decay once they get hit by water/moisture. Try to reuse bio bbs and they might leave fouling in your barrel.
As for washing non bio bbs, if its for plinking, maybe washing them will be okay. but im not sure what that'd do to their polish finish. And if they're hitting hard targets, there are good chances it may chip and fragment
