Had a bit of time and drew the board up in Inventor.
It's compared to a standard US quarter.

Speaking of KM2... Curt, do you happen to still have the manual for the Gladiator board (with vision), and if so, could you kindly send me a copy?

Hmm, thanks... Do you have a sheet that covers eye or dwell settings?

Hmmm.. well apparantly i DID do a Gladiator "AT" version because I have the firmware for it, but I do not see any manual. Did I ever release it? Do you have one? I don't know.

Looking at the firmware I see these registers:

ceFireMode =1,
ceBurstLength,
ceDwell,
ceHoldoff,
ceBolt,
ceROF,
ceEyeRegister,
ceBoltHoldoff,
ceModeRegister,
ceDim,

with these defaults:

dwell - 9ms
holdoff - 9ms
bolt - 13ms
rof - 9
eye sense - 1 (off)
mode - 2
dimmer - 10

I think you set a register, then set 1 trigger pull for plus, two for minus, three for 'set exact' like the shocker AT board.

For the eye its 1 for off, two for on low-blocked, three for on high-blocked.

Also as far as I can tell the DIP switches are ignored except for the first two which are tourney lock and turbo lock.

IF you have that firmware. If you want it I can give you the hex file for it, or I'll burn it into a chip for you for basically cost, call it $10 shipped.

Hmm. The next time I'm feeling particularly courageous, I'll try something (hopefully) innocuous like turning the eyes off and on. Just to clarify, Doc installed this board in the purple Rainmaker he did all those years ago. Other than occasional eye issues that I suspect are related to rollback in the breech (and will require a new bolt to correct), it's working great... I was just hoping to have a manual on hand for any future troubleshooting needs.

Thanks and sorry for the thread derailment!

-Yes, the Gladiator was the version for Bushmasters and Defiants. When I built that purple Rainmaker (apprx. '99-'00-ish) you hadn't made the Morlock yet, and the other boards for the Angel (Gabriel) and Shocker (Glacier) were either physically larger or shaped differently to try and cram into the modified Benchmark Automag frame I used for the conversion.

Doc.

Curt's been posting the occasional update on the DNA Blog. Update as of yesterday is the first batch has been greenlit, and boards should be available in roughly 4 weeks.

I'm assuming that's a pilot batch and not a full production run, but that's just a guess.

Either way, I'm hoping to get a couple for... testing.

Doc.

Things are moving along very well, we are about two weeks away from receiving the first run from the fab house, There is a sub-forum for tracking the DNA board and progress on it: DNA - The ultimate universal board for ANY project
