| MCB Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Southern New Hampshire | Bought some 'prior art' today. Scored at the local pawnshop. A very good condition tippmann pro-lite with a 12 inch armson pro-series barrel. Just felt like bragging ;-) I got it at a really nice price. |

| Post Whore Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Arkansas | I've thought about going to pawnshops for paintball before, but their are too many to choose from. There's like 50 of them, and I've been to about 5, none of witch I saw anything paintball related. Although, they have lots and lots of guns.

They wanted some ungodly amount for it and it wasn't anything special or ressurectable. Madmox

| The Con | A local shop here has a Pro-Lite for $109. It's currently on sale for 40% off, but it's not in good enough shape to even fetch $65. They won't deal unless they get approval from a District Manager, and the punk running the place says it makes little difference to them whether it sells or they write it off. I asked him why it'd be better to throw it into a dumpster rather than take my $45, and he couldn't answer. Stay away from corporate Pawn Shops. The "Mom & Pop" operations (when not run by felons or scumbags) are far superior. |
