Could someone give me the Lowdown on the Lapco Specter?

I may be aquiring one of these shortly, and with MCB and VintageRex down I have nowhere to turn for info. Any and All info is appreciated. Thanks

Basically a lower end Ghost. If i remember right they were used as rentals and such during that era.

i don't own one, but from what i've read, the Specter was more of a rental type marker and is not as nice as a Ghost. don't get me wrong though, Specters' are very nice guns. i know that the specter doesn't have a pump return spring like the Ghost.

this isn't much help for you. ask Dewane about it. he'll be able to tell you more.

edit... kidneythief- beat me to it.

$180-200 depending on the seller/buyer/condition.

I have a Grey Spectre. It does have a pump return spring in it. I like shooting it more than my Ghost or Spirit. I think $200 is about a fair price.

Spectre,a rental version of the Grey Spririt, its a bore drop, dual pump arms.

Wrath,a rental version of the Grey Ghost, its a breech drop, single pump arm.

Barrels are less honed and not stepped for return springs as mentioned above.

Spectres go for $200-$300 usually, depending on condition of course.
