Question on Nelson based markers

If anyone going to know this one is someone here ...
Are all Nelson based markers pump ?? Is there a Nelson based marker in a semi marker ? I'm not talking about a pump with pneumatics parts to make it a semi.
Did they make a semi marker ??

ATS guns are the only ones that I know of.

The big problem with semi Nelson based guns is that the valving has trouble keeping up with the ROF.

Besides some Pnumaticly (factory and custom) operated Nelsons and some custom guns there are very few. IIRC there was an attempt, a complex attempt at that, to make what can be described more or less as a "blowback nelson". However I have only seen a few drawings of that gun.

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

Don't forget the pneumatically operated Autospirit, although very limited in numbers I believe they qualify. PPS made some for a while, I can't recall for sure what they were called. Tornadoes?

I seem to remember reading that one of the reasons PPS stopped doing the mod was that it was difficult to make work properly and not nearly as efficient as the Sheridan based design. So it seems where efficiency is concerned the Nelson owns the pump world while the Sheridan owns the semi world.

I started my semi days with a sheridan xts it was a single tube blowback similar in design to nelson valve setup but not really. the was a metal rod that ran externally behind a lttle plastic cover that connected the bolt to the hammer. very cheap/ghetto gun was great for $80 new at the time. not sure if that helps any.

Those XTS are basically Prolite/carbine/etc. clones....

The main problem with getting a gas operated (not using pnuematics) Nelson to work is being able to load the ball. Getting it recocked is easier, but you need to pull back the whole "carraige" to get a ball into the chamber....

Catchya on the Flip Side.....

Emerald Wolf -- most Tippmans are like that....
