If one of you all has one of those tubes you would like to sell, I'll buy (here in a few days after I get paid) for my 3 tack Nelspot (S/N 235, its a long story/debate)

Can you folks remember the original Nelson colors?

Red & blue I'm positive. I can't remember if yellow and orange were being sold when I first played. For sure when it went over to cases, yellow and orange were available.

I have to believe it was red and blue. Up until late 1984 Jim Iulo at Strategy Plus only had those colors to sell. As soon as Nelson changed over to the polyethylene glycol fill I started to see yellow and orange paint. Just never saw oil based paint there in yellow or orange.

In my first game in Aug. of '83 we shot red, white and orange.

It's an orange tube that I have.

Yeah I distinctly remember seeing an old catalog with orange and yellow paint for cattle/tree marking.

still have the hats they gave out at the 89, 90, and 91 Line SI masters. And really scarily, I have the original autococker LPR from when I had one of the original conversions done. I removed it when I helped build and test the first rock from palmer. Wish I still had that bit of brass....
