the 2x2 rule dosent fly here in BC canada ive try to talk them into it but she is a no go ,all tanks have to have a legit hydro date or she ant getting a fill and iam sure that gose for the rest of canada lets say aside from outlaws

I see what you're saying and it is totally correct. In the sense of transporting the tank, you are running a risk because of the date stamped on the bottle. Whats the fine on something like that if the cop actually gave a crap or even knew to look for it?

I have no idea. I do know that in Canada if someone fills a tank illegally (i.e. out of hydro) the stated fine is $50,000 per tank. Having said that, I personally have never heard of anyone being fined this.
