9.6 volt battery......

My friend took his 9.6 rechargeable battery out of his spyder and put it into his odysey rpm, will this mess up the gun? It has a port to charge it but didnt come with a rechargable battery. just making sure...

If my 1987 clock radio can handle it but his paintball gun can't, then he needs to think about a thing or two.

Yeah, it should be fine.

I would love to have a ramping sleep button on my alarm clock radio. My boss wouldn't like it though.

Most rechargables are 9.6 volts.
SLIGHTLY different than a disposable alkaline, but essentiall the same.

For the most part, most electrical stuff will only draw the current it needs. If the voltage is very close (like this case, 9.0 V vs 9.6 V) it should work. I've run boom boxes off of Forklift Batteries (1800 lbs, 36 volt, 18 cells, and you just clip onto enough 2 volt cells to make the required voltage, like 12 volts, so six cells in Lead-Acid speak)

So if you had a 9.6 V RC Car pack, and you wanted to use it, you would be fine.
