cleaning a white mask

I recently acquired a white mask that has paint stains in it, any ideas on how to remove them?

**it's the frame part of a flex mask-i'm worried soaking it may loosen the foam

not a bad idea. I was using steaming hot soapy water yesterday but it did not help at all

I have a few white JT Frames and I use clorox bleach pens to get out what water/soap won't. You just have to be sure not to touch the foam with the pen or it will eat it.

Try some of that goo gone stuff. (Please test it first on an inconspicuous part of the mask to make sure it doesn't harm the material, like you would when using a new cleaning product on anything.)

It will remove some of the most random stains from plastic. Or a bit of baking soda and vinegar if you don't mind the smell. Sometimes hydrogen peroxide will also work with stubborn stuff.

the joys of PBN... all the kids running around with pimply faces, trying too hard to look good rather than play good, give us the way to clean white frames...

Pick up a bottle of Clean & Clear Oil-Free Continuous Control ACNE WASH

Its in a little purple bottle with a clear cap. It may make your mask smell girly but trust me it works.

I had a white EPS JT frame that had a overall pink tinge to it. After applying this stuff, it became white again!

Heres how to do it:

Take out lens, strap, ears, etc. until the frame is bare
Apply foam in bottle to every surface on your frame
Wait for 2 hours, or until foam dries COMPLETELY
Rinse with cold water
Let dry overnight
Tadah!

ITs that simple. Sorry I didnt have my camera for pics but trust me it works. You can get the spray at a local drug store for a couple bucks. If it cam work for me it can definitely work for you.

TRY IT OUT!
