For anyone not that familiar with phantoms, here are the bits you need to complete your DSP if you ordered both a slide and a frame:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Of course you need to order an SC body to match your slide.

Frames all processed on the opp side.

spent half the day trying to find a reasonably priced thread mill. Found one...... don't have a metric end mill holder. Tried to make my 5/8" holder fit a 16MM endmill. No go, little bastards are hardenened on the inside. Going to have to spend more to get a imperial shanked thread mill. Machine can apparently handle the operation though.

Set up and ran the first frame on the bottom. Processing the rest right now.

bottoms all processed:

decided to switch over to the grip adapters while I was getting the thread mill sorted out. I ordered that late this afternoon.

First grip adapter off the machine at the end of the day:

I'll be processing the rest of those tommorrow. Possibly be processing the back side for the recess where the bucket changer goes.

Finished doing this oepration on the last 4 frames this morning:

ran those all day yesterday

Made a fixture to hold the frames right way around so that I can mill the ASA

Did the holes on valve bodies. They still have to be bobbed and plugged:

Ran out of vice jaws and had to make some more, I was planning on single jaws for a couple of things and used a double instead

made my first electrode:

Next I have to learn how to use it.

Triggers came in today:

practicing thread milling to figure out how it works. Apparently 1 way it works but does it wrong, 1 way does it wrong and you can't fix it. 1 way does it wrong and you CAN fix it. Silly software. messed around with cutting threads and the rest of the ASA port until I had them just right.

processed about half of them today and will finish the rest in the morning

Test fit!!!
