CERAKOTE REFINISHING

Our Cerakote finishes are the perfect alternative to anodizing or for markers with ferrous metals that cannot be anodized. Cerakote is very thin (roughly the same thickness as anodizing) and will not interfere with the tolerances of the marker like unlike duracoat and powder coat. It is also more durable than anodizing and duracoat and even possess self lubricating properties. Cerakote can be applied to any substrate including plastic and since we custom blend our colors in house our color selection is almost limitless. Cerakote is also very affordable, the average cost for refinishing a complete marker is only $100.00.

DRY FILM LUBRICANT COATING

Our Dry Film Lubricants can be applied to any metal surface and offers long term lubrication for parts that see heavy use. It forms a chemical bond with the metals surface and will not interfere with the tolerances of the marker as the process does not alter the dimensions of the part it is applied to. A general rule of thumb is is the part can benefit from being polished it is a great candidate for our Dry Film Lubricant Coating.

Yes, it is possible to using masking with both coatings. We use masking daily to protect sensitive areas on parts and/or to make camo patterns such as ACU or Multicam.

Also, this photo shows a often overlooked component that can benefit from the Dry Film Lubricant coating, the springs. Some springs when compressed will rub against other parts creating drag. Both the Dry Film Lubricant Coating and the Cerakote finish are very flexible and can be applied to springs. In fact we have coated pieces of foil here in the shop that we let customers wad up and flatten back out to demonstrate the durability and flexibility of the coating.

Multicam is no problem. In fact we are doing a few runs on it next week and the week after so if you can get it in pretty soon I can run it with those orders. As for the price on the work I will send you a PM. If you have any questions or concerns just let me know.

The guns shown in the gallery all seem to be a dust (flat) finish. Do you offer any finishes in a gloss finish?

Sorry Cerakote is only available in Matte and Satin finishes. However we are looking into getting a oven cured Cerakote clear made so we can achieve high gloss finishes.
