Bolt some rails on, cover it in glue and toss it down the magpul isle.

I'm with alpha434 on this. They show a red dot sight, with a feedneck and hopper in the way. Yea! Go milsim. I cant wait till someone innovates the right hand 45 degree offset feed as a milsim feature. Maybe even battery free operation, since you dont want your batteries dieing in combat...

obviously you guys have never shot a centerfeed marker with a red dot sight... it works just fine with both eyes open (the ol occluded eye gunsight thing). Used to run my Illusion like that and it rocked (eventually I realized I could shoot just as good with it without the red dot due to excellent ergonomics).

So basically, it's like gluing some TIPX clamshells and some extra rails to a space dildo?

Knock yourself out if that's your thing.

That has been the entire upper half of the milsim market since smart parts did exactly that with the shocker. The other half tries to reinvent the a5/x7 platform every few months.

Why is this in the dealers forum?

And yeah, I'm not a fan of half-arsed milsim stuff. Either go all the way or don't bother. Having a milsim body with a reg still sticking out, a double trigger, and a centerfeed just looks like crap. The ETHA was already an ideal woods gun imo, basic, no frills, reliable, with good performance and price point. I'd much rather have seen Eclipse come out with a single trigger frame than this dorky looking shroud...

I wouldn't mind just adding the front rails for a magpul AFG grip on the front, I'm a fan of those foregrips.
