It would be a die not a tap since he was threading barrels and he hired a machinist so he wouldn't have it. The work was likely done on a lathe anyway since the barrels are so large. I would like to know what the threads are for a little project of my own though.

I do have the steel rod they threaded. for me to chase the threads. I wouldn't try to use it to cut new threads.

Wait so the rod you have has ID THREADS or OD TREADS.

I thought he said he had a tap they made to chase the treads. If it was a die it would be for the barrel extensions. NOT LOOKING FOR A DIE. I was looking for a piece to use on the backside of the havoc. To put one of the tube on the back. For a rocket launcher tube look.
If not ill write a program and thread mill a block for myself at some point.
So i don't really need an actual tap.

I have a tap for the id threads. 2 1/8 - 20 I think it was.
