The wood block attached, its just acting like a filler to give the end form more room for the pistol and under rail attachments?

Correct. The customer sent in their laser, so we used the wooden spacer as a block to mold the Kydex around. Worked out rather well. Even if they decided to upgrade to a different laser in the future, they still have room to play with. No need to buy a new holster simply because they upgraded their laser.

More CANDY!!!!

One customer wanted a dual rig setup a la Lara Croft

While another wanted a rig on a dropleg but didn't want the rig on his thigh, per say. He wanted it more towards the hip, so there's a spacer that hangs off the tactical belt that the dropleg connects to, putting the entire rig in the "sweet spot".

I bring you, the "WidowMaker" Rig...

MORE to come, as always.

That widow maker would feel even better with a swivel joint. I put one on my dlg leg rig, but upside down, and then folded over the belt. This puts the swivel right over the belt. Its great for sitting down.

That Widowmaker is exactly what I had in mind! What would be the wait time on a left-handed Widowmaker? And the Price?

Hey Echoes,
I PM'd you.

What's up Dundadun,
The swivel point is in fact a great idea and could very easily be done by using 1 screw at the top instead of 2. That would put the swivel right at the hip. But, I'm a security nut and wouldn't want to run the risk of using only 1 screw. Besides, the way the rig rides so high up on the hip anyway, sitting down really isn't an issue. It's almost as high as a Police Officer's setup and they get in/out of there cars without issue. Still a great idea though.
