I think this is a fairly old mod. I got all excited when I figured out I could do it and posted it on the old MCB. A few members quickly let me know I wasn't the first to figure it out but I still never see it posted anywhere.
when you unscrew the CO2 knob there are two parts to it. The knob with the threads and what I would call the plunger. Using a couple chanel locks, vise grips or pliers you can unscrew these two pieces. Then put a couple of washers inbetween them when you put them back together. Make sure that it still catches enough threads to hold the 12 gram in then pull the two pieces apart and put them back together using some blue loctite. |
