appearances can be decieving. the top of the body is only about 3/16" higher than the top of a winchester. Which is to be expected, the center line of the barrel is about the same but its larger in diam than a winchester.

If I start trying to crop it down that would mean everything would be nonstandard. as it is a real winchester lever will fit based on dimesions from sketches.

modeled after an 1873 winchester ( I needed to model i after something! ). mostly. its mostly taken from photos. None of the pretty has been put on, just function so far.

I figure it would be about $225 to make lever frame. These would be for inletting into full stocks. You can mess with the lever angle by playing with the length of the lever and trigger linkage.

I could probably make a winchester stock adapter, but I have no dimensions for them other than the tang lengths.

I would buy this, it looks exactly like what I need to complete my latest project that was put on hold.

Yeah its sort of an all of the above idea. It can be a drop in like that. Change the back portion and it can be stocked directly, or pirated.

Hey if you want bondo and spray paint I can do that lol.

Yeah that one has a ton of little diddly details. And no room to fit anything in it!

Is that you buying the lever or building it? A lever for my 1892 cost about $150-$200.
