PSA: Please don't use photobucket to post images. When you go through one of the older picture threads and find a lot of dead photo links, it is because of photobucket. They limit the amount of bandwidth your free subscription pictures can use, and then make the photo unviewable. Please use imgur.com or another free image host that does not ruin picture threads.

A littel bit of surface rust on a 9oz tank..
I would use them.
You ever see the rust on some of the supply tanks? these things get used in damp conditions all the time, and the only thing that keeps them from it is paint, which gets worn off in short order.

I believe you are mistaken. Chromoloy tanks have a limited lifespan of (iirc) 15 years. Even in perfect condition, and passing hydro, they can only be used for 15 years past date of manufacture.
Only aluminum tanks have an unlimited lifespan, and only aluminum tanks that fall under the 2x2 have unlimited lifespan without hydro.

I learned the visual inspection thing the hard way... I had a tank start to separate from the valve while filling.... I turned the supply tank off and ran like hell.
