This must be a joke. I am now so damned confused. I am going to work this out as best as I can.

The current bid is 151,435.00 pounds. English pounds. English money.

Okay. According to the internet conversion calculator, that is 96,252.09 dollars. US Dollars. American money.

The seller describes it as being one centimeter, sorry one centimetre, from the bottom of the neck to the top of the head. Centimetres. As in metric.

One centimetre converts to .39 inches, or just over three eights of one inch. I am a carpenter. I need things in standard.

So someone is about to pay the equivalent of ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND dollars for a piece of glue that apparently looks like a cartoon character's head. Not only that, but this piece of glue is less than a half of an inch long?

I may have just drank a bit of cognac and watched Apocalypse Now Redux, but the world cannot actually be THIS warped.

a british pound is worth more than a us dollar, so it's actually twice as offensive as you found it

i'm pretty confident no one is going to actually pay up. likely just f'n with the seller
