Etek 3 "Creaking" sound

Does anyone know what it means if my etek 3 "creaks" very quietly after being shot? Guessing it needs relubing somewhere. Thanks.

Its so faint I can't tell... thought it was my hopper, took my hopper off / turned hopper off. Fired, still quietly creaked. Sounded like it was near the front of the marker, towards the lpr or reg. Oh, the creaking lasted for several seconds after dry firing. Wish I knew where it was exactly.

pull out lpr and hpr pistons, regrease, and try again. After that, pull off the frame and shoot the maker to see if its comming from the noid.

How old is the gun? (shots through it)
Factory settings?

Ok, any idea of what I should use for grease? And ok, will try that.

Not sure of age / shots, bought the marker used a few months ago. Factory settings. Thanks.

pretty much any dow 33 should work

the creaking might be the orings of the lpr/hpr rubbing, which would go away after a while. If it goes away after greasing, thats probably waht it was.

what is your lpr set at?

Awesome, only stuff I have.

And ok, I'll have to regrease and find out. My lpr has the flush then 2 turns in trick, best I've been able to set it. Thanks.

Speaking of Dow 33, I've got Dow 55, but was wondering if Harbor Frights sold any form of Dow 33.
