I'll be able to do up a draft right quick and will probably run it by my friends to verify that the machinist won't hate me when somebody hands them the plans.

From the little bit that I looked into it, the plate I designed should work right off the bat with any cocker frame. I checked the sear engagement measurements with the 86 frame on my S6 and at least it will work with that frame, I'm hoping that the AC frames are somewhat standard.

In case anyone is interested the sear length protruding from the standard frame was pretty much 80 thou and the sear length protruding from my S6 frame is right around 150 thou. I designed it to be ~60 thou thick.

EDIT:

Decided to go with some less like a plate and more like it was intended to be there in the first place.

If there is anything you would change let me know, I can make the changes before I do up the draft.

It basically contours the valve tube about half way up so there is more seamless transition between the plate and the valve tube. I also chamfered and filleted the bottom corners so that there is a gradual decrease in width from the 0.88" of the valve tube to the 0.75" of the frame.

It can be what ever material you want. Just need to tell the machinist what material you want. I imagine that it would be easily available (in ascending order of price) some form of plastic, aluminum, brass, stainless, titanium. Hell a cursory search showed that if you really wanted to pay for it, it could be in platinum (not that it would stand up to any abuse).

My thoughts on the matter were aluminum, delrin I just don't believe will have the shear strength given how thin some parts are. If I had a Mill and DRO I could probably turn these out myself fairly simply, they aren't very complex, but alas I don't have that sort of equipment.

Another possibility is to mill out some pieces out of brass and solder them to the valve tube to give you the desired stability.

You could also have a .44" Radius channel milled into the frame you want to use.

Double FYI for paintball rules there should be no "offer" of surrender, its either mandatory surrender at X distance when guy is behind you or no surrender and you get shot in the booty. "offer" of surrender makes for some ridiculous and dangerous john woo tactics.
