Interesting times ahead.

As some of you may know I tried to leave my right foot in Kuwait in Nov while on a Mil Charter.
There was a total meltdown of a electrical panel that caused this accident to happen.
I have been trying my best to get back to work on the plane but it now looks like they are going to have me evaluated for a PPI instead.
If it comes back as even a 1% then it will mean 100% percent and my 30 years of flying will come to a end and all be for naught.
My company will not let me fly until I am a 100% healed which is never gonna happen.
They hired me as a 90% disabled vet as is but are now saying that I have to be 100%.
So I reckon it is time to start looking for a real job for the first time in my life.
Question is WTH is a old fart Loadmaster qualified to do?
I am too damn young to st on my butt the rest of my life and to old to play the young mans game.

Giggolo?

Can probably still do Loadmaster like duties at a nearby airport, especially if they've got a FedEx/UPS terminal.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's all for naught though, I mean you enjoyed it while you did it, bad **** happened, not your fault. You can still have a fulfilling life doing something other than your dream job.

I am gonna see about flying UAVS as there is a job near where I am moving too Oregon and there is also a scuba job in Silverdale Washington that does cool things that most folks would never get to do.

I am really up in the air because as a 100% Alaska's max is only $176,000 so whatever percent is divided into that.
However the accident happened while on a Military charter overseas which opens up a whole new ballgame and payment.
If they do the military one that is supposed to be used then by my company's definition I would be unable to do the job and classified at 100% of a lot more money.
Either way they would pay to retrain me and the job has to pay at least what I make now.
It is just getting to that point and living off the scraps in the mean time.
The paperwork is in so I will just have to wait.
While the foot hurts like a former Oldschool spouse I refuse to let it limit me in anyway. I have been in pain for years and have not let it slow me down to much as of yet.
I would still like to be a Loadmaster but all good things come to a end

You could work for TSA. It is like a gigolo, but you get paid worse.

Meet interesting people, get paid to feel them up...
Have to take a cold shuddering shower in the evening to erase certain images from your mind.

Let's see:
Military service
Martial arts experience
Well armed
Smart and good looking

I'd say executive protection or giggilo, whichever seems like more fun.

I am so sorry dude

Well how about training/instructing/consulting military or private sector loadmasters or something like that. It will at least keep you in the aviation field and maybe get you some flight time.
