SF would be an awesome city to ride in. Very much a motorcycle town- whenever I'm there, I see them everywhere.

I know that feel. I can't get quotes under $3000 a year.

I'll keep that in mind. I'm trying to get my project bike under way this winter.

The girlfriend is gonna hate having a bike in parts in the middle of our apartment.

I'm paying $2300 a year for my bike with an m1. No one but Jevco would touch it. Until I qualify for historic insurance next year. My bike is 42 years old, I'm 24.

Holy crap thats as much as I pay for two performance cars. How is it so high? You can only hurt yourself so bad without dying, the bike doesnt cost that much, and you cant do all that much property damage with one.

New rider plus vintage bike. With only one insurance option right now I just have to suck it up and not crash. Getting classic insurance and m2 will drop it a lot. I've already talked to my broker.

Yup, I love riding in the city. Lots of nice views, and riding in the fog is pretty fun too.

PS: Sorry I fell through on the XJ550 deal. I probably couldn't have restored to what it deserved to be. Hope you found a good buyer to take care of it.

No worries. If you change your mind, here it is.

Get a small bike, 250cc. Register it, insure it, drive it home, shoe horn an 1100cc into it.
