Loved the cartoon, too bad it died so young. Clerks Two was written only for Jay (Forgetting his real name) Kevin Smith told him that if he quit doing heroin that Kevin would write a clerks two and well here we are.

I was unaware that was Smith's motivation for making the movie, but either way, I thought it kicked ***. The new and improved Jay and Silent Bob get two thumbs up from me.

There is a picture in my friends house drawn by Jason and signed by J and Kevin . I had also heard the same about Kevin writing the flick for Jay if he'd straighten up.

We tried to go see Clerks 2 Friday night but the only seats left were front row and Karen nixed that. We ended up seeing "You, Me & Dupree" which was pretty funny but too long.. it's was just about 2 hours and probibly should have been 1:40 or so. But, all four of us enjoyed it. I hadn't been to the movies in a long time so it was a nice change of pace, however I still can't believe I paid $4 for a bottled water..
