I try...

I haven't done a whole lot of diving. I have my PADI open water cert (Since 2002), and I have done dives in mexico, british columbia, the bahamas and new zealand. As a destination, a liveaboard trip with Blackbeard's in the bahamas should be on everyone's list. The Poor Knights Islands are super cool, too.

30 yr old PADI jr. diver. I see no need to send in $15+ for a new card that doesn't say "jr."

I have PDIC Rec/Tech certification. If I wanted to get a full tech cert, I'd have to take a couple tech certifications through PDIC, but I'm lazy and dont have enough time for diving as of lately.
I can go as deep as I want until I get o2 toxicity. :P
Alot of my diving is done in quarries, however I've dove in the florida keys 30+ dives or so...

Right there with ya K Obeastly, I wasn't a bad looking kid 33 years ago!

Think wrecks, ice, dry suits. Though there are tricks to get away with wet suits even in lake superior.
My family is from munising in the Upper penninsula of Michigan. Dozens of good diving wrecks in the Alger Underwater Preserve between there and whitefish point, far inshore and shallower than where the Edmund Fitzgerald went down thankfully. Even some wall diving if you're man enough, you can stand waist deep on the outer edge of Grand Island and throw a rock into 400ft of water...

Alger County Underwater Preserve

We paid off our gear in recovered snowmobiles as I remember. Alot of our dives were inland lakes, exploring for the fish of it!

I went on a spearfishing charter in the gulf while stationed at Ft Polk, my only dive in the ocean so far.

I took my wife to a discover scuba class last year, she's ready to try it now!!

I'm booked on a trip to the Galapagos next summer. I'm pretty damn stoked about it, too. Sounds like it's time for a drysuit.

Padi Diver here. Been diving the Cooper River in SC for 22 years.

Some projectile points I have found over the years:

I have plenty of Alligator stories from the Cooper. Getting bumped by a Dolphin, half my hand swallowed by a catfish. Stuff like that.
