Checked out Attack on Titan finally after hearing a bunch of hype.

Definitely living up to that 10 episodes deep.

The manga is just as good/better. I'm caught up on both and I kind of had a feeling about some characters that proved to be true.

Well, I have found that watching AoT on my Tv is the shiz. Its a 3d tv and makes most things look weird but hot damn does Anime look good on it.

I also told a friend about it and she seemed pretty interested. Who knows maybe I can have a buddy to watch anime with.

I just finished the US release for Roberta's Blood Trail. Can't go wrong with more Black Lagoon but that's pretty much all it is. Nothing special. Dubs are great and this is one of the few anime where I actually prefer them.

Aaand starting Gundam Unicorn. Pretty good so far but I can't really say much as I've never watched the original or it's movies so I'm a bit lost on back story and previous events. Actually, I don't think I've ever seen any of the UC timeline except for 8th MS Team.

How far ahead is AoT in the manga? I've been trying to figure out how long this series is going to be.

On it's own I think Gundam unicorn is great and entertaining. If you've seen the original series then it'll help tie things together. I haven't seen the continuation of the original timeline, so I can only speak for that.

Char's counterattack and (I think) Gundam F91 tie in to add more backstory.

At least twice as far. Its on issue 48ish I think, long chapters too.

Episode 20 of the anime corresponds with issue 27 of the manga. I think they condensed/ skipped some stuff but I cant really remember.

gave Rebuild of Evangelion a shot, gotta say I enjoyed it

Since I had never seen all of the others in chronological order and due to that never really completely understood it, or let alone gave it a chance Rebuild has changed that, and it looks better in HD!!

Also caught Sword Art Online for the first time, I had heard of it and looked into it but just didn't make the effort to watch,
reminded me a bit of .Hack Sign

Yay Adventure Time!!
and somehow watched a few episodes of
My Little Pony....
unsure how that happened....

That was funny, Donut SD. I like MLP, but I watch it with my daughters, and it is much better than watching Dora.

I recently started up watching anime again, after a 8 year break. Watched Girls und Panzer, which was a little silly at times (high school girls) but had good animation, and tanks! Basically it is a world where tankery is a high school sport. If you like anime and World of Tanks, I recommend.

On the old school note, my favorites back in the day were Escaflone, Trigun, and Cowboy Bebop. Might have to find copies of them again. Can you guys recommend anything like those?
