if they are teens and those are large dogs, maybe they were actually provoking the attacks? it would be like how most rattlesnake bites are on people's hands because they keep trying to **** with the snakes in the first place.

they are all over where i live. they stay away from people pretty good. Probably having a mastiff helps with that. we hear em camping a lot too. the little dog shakes and sits there all night...big dog snores lol.
