Official LL5 Dolphin-Dive
Just occurred to me... Glados voice... Aliens come to earth through an orangey-looking portal.... Well played, Guillermo, well played...

A bunch of the visuals in the "Control Room" (?) scenes also look heavily inspired by a lot of aperture tech. Dudes in the white plastic control suits? Most of that stuff in the back ground easily could have fit in along side much of Portal's content.
Wonder if that was an actual nod to the series, or a complete accident.

I was having flashbacks to Robot Jox the way they were controlling the 'mechs, but it would have been cooler if they were INSIDE the 'mechs instead of miles away in a remote control room. Of course, you wouldn't be able to put your two jockeys side by side for some of the shots, so there's an up and a downside to it.
Want to improve your game? The best thing to buy is more paint and more field fees.
I can't dumb it down to your level because I'm scared of heights.
