My buddy once had a pet Chukar. Until it killed his pet chicken, then he had the Chukar for dinner. I think he had the chicken too.

My wife loves wombats.

I want an armadillo. Not aware that they are native to this region, but we've seen em out here, so maybe they are. Wife does not approve, though.

We had pet goats for a while - Blanco (cuz he was white), Yolo (named after the county he was born in, not the YOLO fad) & Blue (for Blue Ribbon, since he was born at the fair). We did not name them, but we didn't feel like re-naming them. Lived in our backyard, kept the grass & weeds down. But they kept them down too much, we couldn't keep em fed, so a local ranch agreed to keep em in a small enclosure where they'd never run out of grass/weeds. Sadly, Blanco died, and we had to give the other two away before the move. Don't know of their status now, hope they're still alive. Blanco was my fave, cuz he had the weirdest bleet, "baaah aaaaaaaa...."

I have several and they are awesome. The longer you are exposed to them, the cuter they will look and if you get yours from a reputable breeders, your rats will have great personalities, disease free and a great investment. Only downside is that they have relatively short lifespans.

and no, due to the movements a few pellets crumbled into slightly clumpy powdery form.
Shoulder trained rats are very well behaved and their poop/raisins are moist (assuming they are healthy); hard enough to retain pellet shape when pooped out, but soft enough to deform if you apply enough pressure. You can actually feel if a rat has a pellet ready to come out and induce a gentle peristalsis.

Ignoring every factor of danger, I'd like either a Grizzly...

Or a cougar.
