dude I remember when I lived in texas I'd leave the house with multiple shirts depending on how far I was going and how many stops I had to make. Not because the heat was bad, but the freaking humidity in south east texas can be stupid brutal. 110 in the shade with 90-100% humidity will wreck a week's worth of shirts easy. Mississippi's humidity was just as bad, but the heat never got so bad.

I live in a small town called Thorold it's right smack dab in the middle of the Niagara region about 10 minutes from Niagara Falls. If any of you guys are headed to the falls with the family or whatever to check out the touristy crap and want to hit one of the local fields shoot me a pm. Right now it's typical winter weather going to be -6 or so tomorrow celsius and forecasting snow

I was stationed at Ft. Hood back in the mid 90's, hot and extremely humid with that huge lake in our backyard. It snowed one time, if you could call it that. So little that the breeze would push the snowdust around on the roads. They closed the base down that day.

There were some very cold days though during the winter. Horray for GoreTex and the M1A1's exhaust. Better than a hobo barrel fire!! Boo to HMMWVs with cloth tops and doors in 40mph winds!!!

I'm back to 'ol Kentucky now. Livin' the strange live in Louisville, where we pride ourselves on keeping it weird. I don't know what the temp outside is now; but there's snow on the ground, the wind is blowing, and my toes are freezing from wearing flip flops as I smoked outside.

From Fairbanks, Alaska....but currently my happy *** is sitting at one our colleges remote campus sites (Village of Ft. Yukon) 100 miles or so north of home (maintenance work). Today it was a balmy +5*F, which is way better than the -54*F they had last week.

Most of us like that Poutine that everyone else seems to hate ( French fries topped with gravy and curd cheese)
