Get use to it? There are piles of Canadians on this website, and in general we seem to be more active here than our American counterparts.

And just remember, our postal system makes us money and yours is slowly going bankrupt

USPS raised the prices of flatrate boxes by another $7 across the board last month. I think the previous big raise was 2 years ago when it went up by $5 on medium and large. A small that was $13 is now $20, medium that was $28, then $34 is now $41, and the big ones are up to $53 from $46. That's around 40% raise in 2-3 years..

Quit putting 'or best offer' or add 'firm' to your sale post prices. Problem solved.

Atleast you know the prices are basically set for whatever you can manage to fit in there. Every time I have to send something down, the price can vary - drastically. I like to reuse those hand boxes I get from you Yanks, but I can tell you, the price you send that bos up is still $5-10 less than what I pay when I ship you back the exact same box. Better yet, I get so many Americans who like to think that I should ship them out a tiny *** item for free, hell, even LOSE money (past the cost of the item) routinely.

People don't seem to think that they should be paying for shipping.

I want to pay for shipping, it's the item I don't want to pay for.

I was surprised too last time I went to ship a small package to the US, seems like PostesCanada dropped the ground option and only the air is available, so what I could ship for $5.75 can only be shipped for $7.80 now..

It is expensive to be Swedish with an interest of Automags / Micromags.
You will not find many Automags / Micromags in Sweden and it is usually in the states where you can find the "goodies".

An example: I buy a Automag for $ 100.
I have to pay shipping for this. approximately (us) $ 65. (can) $110
When the package arrives in Sweden, I get to pay Customs duties. 25% out value. $ 25
Swedish postal service then takes charge of $ 16 to manage the package.

So, stop whining.

Last two packages sent to me from the US. Postage didn't seem that bad...

Both were packaged very well. The tube had a nice PPS barrel in it and the envelope had a fantastic automag valve...

Both items would have cost me between $10-16 to ship south...without tracking or insurance...and take upto four weeks to arrive...

i have solved this problem.
First you need a friend that lives in Canada and works in the us. then you have him ship any thing for you once he crosses the border.
