I know this but most tools are not held for hours on end by a super sweaty person. I don't know how it would feel, if is a little rough for my likings on a paintball gun. I sprayed a RC controller with it for fun and did not like it. I use the dip on my RC vehicles batteries and it holds up well there. If you use the dip it doesn't like to last too long after you break the seal on it so use ad much up as you can, as it sits the finish looks worse and it will lay much thicker.

They make a plastic dip cleaner to clean it real well I would get if you do your wheels. They make it in almost any color you would want, there is even pearl clear. Its popular to plastic dip white then paint wheels, if you want to change it just peel/scrape it off and do it again when your bored of the color. I would just get the colored dip/spray, it is available in a ton of colors now.

I did a set of grips and a pump handle with the spray..it just seemed to roll off like that after a little bit of use.
