| Delving into Satinism | Looks good! It was pretty cloudy out for me, so not much was seen. There was a really good one back in Septemberish I think that was fantastic looking tho and I saw that one at least. Great pictures guys!

| It was what S7G refered to as "booger cracking cold" at my place, so the sky was crystal clear. Moon was beautiful. Rachel and I could see it from our bedroom window, right before retiring for the evening.. Didn't get as deep of red as I thought it would, more of a burnt orange. Still pretty cool.

| I'm teaching a directed study in astrophotography this semester. My student sent me this one today: ![]() It was taken in Bridgewater, MA. through a 14" Meade Lx200 using a Meade DSLR II (I'm not sure if he was using the color or monochrome with filters.) He's processing more -rat

| I was lucky. Perfectly clear skies yielded some great photos. ![]() An 8 second shutter was extremely hard to keep perfectly still, even with a cheap flimsy tripod. EDIT: huh. the above photo looks like an exact copy of the picture of my moon, except in more detail. I like it. Last edited by Andrewliu6294; 02-22-2008 at 09:07 PM. |
