Wink More SNOW! Whaduya do on your un-expected snow days off?

So here I sit in lovely north Jers... . Woke up at an extra hour early today, 7am, got ready for work. Brushed my car off, then shoveled her out of 6" o new snow (with tons more on the way). Just as I'm about to pull out the driveway, call comes in... da Office is CLOSED!

Just for a second, I was pretty pissed off. Shoveled a pretty large driveway and dug out 3 cars (ma & pa's included), only to have work closed. But then the reality of the matter set in... Having a nice day off, a PAID day off for that matter, AND it's also a Friday! 3-Day weekend baby!

Anyways... what do you do with your un-expected snow days off?

Pretty much, I plan on veggin' out (vedge-ing...? ), catching up on forums & posts, tinker with some o my Markers & gear... sleeping on and off all day, hot chocolate & video games galore

Day off because of snow? Where?

Welcome to the real world where so long as there is power at my office, and it's a weekday, I'm there.

Be nice to stay at home every time the weather was crappy and schools were delayed....

My office is a major Firm in North Jersey, 1of4 locations in the Tri-State Area - NY/NJ/PA, consisting of well over 300 employees in my branch alone. The location is not the best, as it's next to a mountain. Said mountain tends to dump, or causes the dumping, of tons o more snow than usually falls on the surrounding roads and general area.

Guess I'm lucky then

Hell I have to run copies of a plan set 15 miles down the road.. then come back and take it 6 miles in the other direction... with snow on the ground... I still don't understand this "day off" business.
