Fountain Pens

We don't have enough archane devices to collect that are potentially made out of a combination of brass and wood, so I'll ask: Who uses (or collects) fountain pens?

I don't (currently), but I have enjoyed writing with them in the past.

I had a dip pen for art class, does that count?

I remember always using it too hard and scratching holes on the paper...

I have some Mont Blanc "Meisterstuch" pens (fountain and otherwise) that I inherited from my Dad.

If I really want/need a win, I will take one of them to Court with me.

I draw the line at functionless eyewear, but I'm a huge fan of the former two items. I use a steel-nib dip pen for writing at home, but carry a fine nibbed meisterstuck 149. I'm thinking of switching to the slimmer Chopin version, but am not entirely sold on it yet.

When are the members of MCB going to begin sporting handlebar mustaches, or porkchop beards to go along with the monacles, and cigars, pipes, and other sort of stuff we all like to collect?

Next thing I know, you guys will be in a room full of mounted beasts, in your smoking jackets, wearing your monicles, and going on about how 1880 was such a good year, and you will be braggin up about your safari, and so forth..

Here here!!

Old beans..

Clearly, CN would be surprised at what an evening in the library was like, back before I moved to NY and into a tiny apartment

LOL,

the MCB bunkhouse needs a smoking lounge, complete with overstuffed arm chairs and some mounted squirrel heads.

Then the stories of safaris to hunt agglets can be recounted in a proper fashion
