Hello all, Now it's not as bad as it sounds. What I want made is a Henry Golden Boy action cover. It's not really the firearms receiver but more so a cover that holds the bolt in, so a "gun" could not be made with the part. So is there anyone on here that would make this part for me for reasonable price? Thank you.

From what I gather you want to make it so this weapon cannot fire. I assume that you will want to be able to change it from hot to not. I suggest getting a spare bolt and cutting it so that it is no longer operational, maybe remove the firing pin. This way it still looks like a working stock gun, but doesn't actually work.

One-off ..... basically producing one part from scratch rather than a run of multiple parts. When you produce one item rather than many it costs lots of money for design and set up. You can't just easily copy a part unless you have expensive CNC machines and programs to run them. If some one has a hand controlled mill, they need to do everything by hand, which means time and time = $. If you can't get the part from Sarco, then you may need to hit up a gunsmith.. someone might have one laying around... And I have no idea what you are trying to create. E |

Look for a replica to cut up. Since the the part you want is a receiver, chances are you will not be able to mail order it, and will have to go through a gun dealer. There are dummy replicas out on the market that could be had cheaper than paying for some machine time to make a look alike part.
